Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (“Howl”) are set to direct the indie biopic “Lovelace” for Nu Image says Variety.
W. Merritt Johnson (“Temple Grandin,” “In Treatment”) is adapting Eric Danville’s biography about Linda Boreman’s rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace of 1972’s “Deep Throat,” and her subsequent transformation into feminist, anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano.
The film is told through the perspective of three interviewers at various stages of her life. Laura Rister, Jim Young and Heidi Jo Markel will produce. Filming kicks off later this year.
