New Line Cinema has scored the remake rights to the Venezuelan horror title “The House at the End of Time” with Good Fear Film and Jinga Films to produce the new take.
The story follows a mother who returns to the site of a crime that took place thirty years earlier and left her family shattered. There, she must come to grips with the supernatural aspects that led to the tragedy.
The original film’s writer and director Alejandro Hidalgo will helm the remake while Henry Gayden (“Earth to Echo”) is in talks to write the script. Chris Bender and Jake Weiner will produce.
