Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Chris Evans, Mia Wasikowska and Tracy Letts are all in talks to star in “Simon Killer” and “Christine” director Antonio Campos’ next film “The Devil All the Time”. The film is reportedly an adaptation of Donald Ray Pollock’s 2011 novel with Campos directing and co-writing with Paulo Campos.
Set in the forgotten backwoods town of Knockemstiff, Ohio, a man desperate to save his dying wife turns to prayer and then succumbs to sacrifice. His son Arvin (Holland) is growing from a kid bullied at school into a man who knows when to take action.
Other characters in this town include a serial killer couple, a faith-testing preacher and a corrupt local sheriff (Evans) in a story that spans two decades. Jake Gyllenhaal, Randall Poster and Riva Marker will produce with filming to get underway in February next year.
Campos recently signed on to direct Fox Searchlight’s “Splitfoot” and a prequel to “The Omen” at Fox. He’s recently served as executive producer on USA’s “The Sinner”.
