“Narcos” and “Logan” star Boyd Holbrook is re-teaming with Netflix for the original feature “In the Shadow of the Moon” from “Hap and Leonard” creator Jim Mickle.
Mickle directs from a script by Gregory Weidman and Geoff Tock. Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Rian Cahill will produce and the film is expected to begin shooting later this year. Holbrook will be seen later this year as the lead in Shane Black’s “The Predator”.
He isn’t the only actor lining up a film project from a streaming giant today as Viola Davis has become attached to star in the feature “Troupe Zero” for Amazon Studios.
Bert & Bertie are attached to direct from a script by Lucy Alibar, with Todd Black producing, but filming dates are not yet set. In the case of both films, specifics of their plots are under wraps.
