The latest attempt at turning a video game into film hits this week as the reboot of the “Hitman” franchise, Aleksander Bach’s action-thriller “Hitman: Agent 47,” hits cinemas.
Like many a potential franchise launcher (or in this case re-launcher), this one sows the seeds for a potential sequel. Screen Rant reports that after the film’s end credits there’s an extra scene featuring an antagonist from the video games who could appear in a follow-up film.
The character from 2006’s “Hitman: Blood Money” is that of Mark Parchezzi III, aka. The Albino. The scene reportedly also features an actor in the role but it’s not known who it is.
Rupert Friend, Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware, Ciaran Hinds, and Thomas Kretschmann star in “Hitman: Agent 47” which opens August 21st.
