‘Hit’ Producers Head To “Dream Country”

“Hit and Run” producers Kim Waltrip and Jim Casey are developing an adaptation of Luanne Rice’s 2002 novel “Dream Country” for their Kim and Jim Productions company says Variety.

The story centers on a couple’s blissful marriage that’s cut short when their three-year old son disappears while accompanying his father on a roundup in Wyoming.

Thirteen years later, the son’s twin sister travels to Wyoming to discover her family’s past. Rice is co-adapting the family drama with Jayce Bartok and shooting kicks off in February.
