“High Fidelity” Jumps From Disney+ To Hulu

Zoe Kravitz To Lead Disneys High Fidelity

Disney’s planned TV series based on Nick Hornby’s novel “High Fidelity” is making the jump from the more family-friendly Disney+ streaming service to the more adult-oriented Hulu.

Ten episodes of the project have been ordered which tells the story from a female point of view, switching out the lead character for a woman (played by Zoe Kravitz) who is the ultimate music fan and record store owner obsessed with pop culture and top five lists.

Veronica West and Sarah Kucserka penned and executive produce the new take which is being produced by Midnight Radio and ABC Signature. Scott Rosenberg, who co-wrote the 2000 movie starring John Cusack, will also executive produce along with Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, Nick Hornby and Jesse Peretz.
