Heroes, Grey’s, Entourage Updates

The first of three webisodes introducing the new “Heroes” character Echo De Mille (a mailman who can emit fatal sounds) will premiere on NBC.com next Monday. The first hour of the two-hour season premiere will apparently be screened at this year’s Comic Con presentation in San Diego.

“Journeyman” and “Rome” star Kevin McKidd is in talks to join ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” as a doctor recently returned from Iraq.

Showtime and “Dexter” executive producer Sara Colleton are turning the comic “The Exterminators” into a dramatic cable series. The story follows an ex-convict who finds work with the various dysfunctional characters of pest control service Bug-Be-Gone.

HBO has set the premiere of the fifth season of “Entourage” for September 7th, the same night it will also debut the pilot of their new Alan Ball-created vampire series “True Blood” starring Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Ryan Kwanten.
