Hemsworth Replaces Hammer On “Cut Bank”

Liam Hemsworth is set to replace Armie Hammer in the lead role in the thriller “Cut Bank” at Kilburn Media and eOne.

The story follows a young car mechanic whose dreams of leaving the coldest town in the US set in motion a deadly sequence of events.

Hammer dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. John Malkovich, Billy Bob Thornton, Bruce Dern, Teresa Palmer, Oliver Platt and Michael Stuhlbarg also star.

Matt Shakman directs from a Black List screenplay by Roberto Patino. Laura Rister, Ed Zwick, Dan Cohen and Mickey Barold are producing, and shooting has begun in Edmonton, Canada.
