Helmers Vie For “Captain America” Sequel

George Nolfi (“The Adjustment Bureau”), F. Gary Gray (“The Italian Job”) and Anthony and Joseph Russo (“You, Me and Dupree”) are all under consideration to direct Marvel Studios’ “Captain America” sequel reports Vulture.

The site claims this short list has been whittled down from a larger field of ten possible helmers. Further meetings will be held in early April with a decision expected to be made by mid-April.

The Russo brothers seem an odd choice, but the pair have won Emmys and have a strong resume of TV series work including “Community,” “Happy Endings” and “Arrested Development”.
