Warner Bros. Pictures have picked up the film rights to the graphic novel “Rascal Raccoon’s Raging Revenge” says Heat Vision.
Created by Brendan Hay and Justin Wagner, the story is set in a place called Toonie Terrace where good-natured Toonies rambunctiously and without fail outwit the Meanies, who are trying to do them in.
The story is set in motion when Rascal Raccoon finally and unexpectedly kills his longtime nemesis, Jumpin’ Jackalope. Needing a new target, he sets his sights on the animator who created him. The film is a live-action and CGI combination (ala “The Smurfs”).
Todd Strauss-Schulson (“A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas”) is attached to helm, Matt Fogel will adapt the script while Eric Gitter and Ken Franchi will produce.
