Though currently only available via PCs and Macs, HBO’s “HBO Go” service is coming to mobile platforms early next month.
The network will use the platform to give users advance access to select programming prior to on-air debut. Most notably these will include many (but not all) episodes of new series “Game of Thrones” and the upcoming fourth season of “True Blood”.
The reason some episodes won’t get a sneak peek is that the network doesn’t want to spoil crucial storyline developments for those who don’t have the service.
Meanwhile, the USA Network have announced the summer premiere dates for its original series.
The network’s hit action series “Burn Notice” will premiere its fifth season Thursday June 23rd at 9pm and will follow it with new legal series “Suits” at 10pm.
“Royal Pains” returns Wednesday June 29th at 9pm and will follow with the divorcee turned football therapist drama “Necessary Roughness” at 10pm.
The network will also bring back the fourth season of “In Plain Sight” on May 1st, along with the third season of “White Collar” and second of “Covert Affairs” on Tuesday June 7th. The sixth season of “Psych” has been pushed back to the Fall.
