The seventh and final book in the “Harry Potter” series – “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” is set to debut on bookshelves around the world on Saturday July 21st.
The launch will take place a mere eight days after the film version of the fifth film, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”, hits theatres on the preceeding Friday July 13th.
Plans were to have the book two weeks earlier, but that would’ve hit the movie’s publicity blitz and potentially cancel out inkspace and dollars for both properties.
Now the 21st date has been settled on. A relatively high $35 R.R.P. has been announced for US editions.
