Actor Ioan Gruffudd (“Forever,” “San Andreas,” “Hornblower”) has revealed that his new crime drama procedural series “Harrow” has already been renewed for a second season despite the first not having launched as yet.
The ten-episode first season marks the first international drama production for Disney’s ABC Studios International and he is already filming the sophomore run of the show for Australian broadcaster ABC.
“Secrets & Lies” writer Stephen M. Irwin and producer Leigh McGrath teamed on the project which follows forensic pathologist Dr. Daniel Harrow (Gruffudd), who has total disregard for authority and an unfailing empathy for the dead to help him solve even the most bizarre of cases.
When a terrible secret from his past threatens his family, his career and himself, Harrow needs all his wit, wile and forensic genius not to solve a crime but to keep it buried. “Harrow” launches in Australia next month, and later this year in the U.S. and UK once deals are in place.
