DC Universe has officially announced that the upcoming “Harley Quinn” animated series, starring Kaley Cuoco as the voice of the villainess, will debut exclusively on the streaming service on Friday, November 29th.
The announcement was made during the DC Universe streaming service’s New York Comic-Con presentation last night. The voice cast for the series will include Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as Joker/Clayface, Diedrich Bader as Batman, Giancarlo Esposito as Lex Luthor, Christopher Meloni as Commissioner James Gordon, and Sanaa Lathan as Catwoman.
There’s also Jim Rash as Riddler, Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman, Ron Funches as King Shark, Rahul Kohli as Scarecrow, Jacob Tremblay as Damian Wayne along with Tony Hale, J. B. Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Natalie Morales and Phil LaMarr in other roles.
The panel also announced a new anthology series called “BizarroTV” which will premiere in 2020 and will feature fan favourite characters from obscure corners of the DC universe.
That series is said to be a showcase of experimental styles and creative voices and visions that will be a mix of live-action and animation along with deep cuts from the DC portfolio of characters like Space Cabbie, Ambush Bug, Slam Bradley and the Creeper.
