Hap and Leonard Renewed For Season 2

SundanceTV has renewed its swamp-set, six-episode drama TV series “Hap and Leonard” for a second season following its launch in March.

Based on Joe R. Lansdale’s books, James Purefoy and Michael K. Williams star as two mismatched best friends who take part in a get-rich-quick scheme that quickly goes awry.

Jim Mickle and Nick Damici (“Cold in July”) penned the series which Mickle directed while Nick Schumaker and Jeremy Platt are executive producing. An episode count, or expected premiere date for season two, has not yet been announced.
