Been a modestly busy few days on the “Star Wars” front starting with a new photo from director Ron Howard on the set of the “Han Solo” film.
Actress Thandie Newton has returned to the set to shoot more scenes in her role, taking time in between filming episodes of the second season of HBO’s “Westworld” which is currently in production.
Next up, “I Am Your Father” director Marcos Cabota has revealed in a new interview with La Fosa del Rancor that the “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed” game character of Rham Kota, an old Jedi Master, was originally in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” as a blind user of the Force. Ultimately it sounds like the character was changed to become Donnie Yen’s new character in the film.
Finally in related news, a new cinematic scene from “Star Wars Battlefront II” has gone online showcasing how the campaign’s new character Iden Versio receives her orders from the deceased Emperor in the wake of the destruction of the second Death Star.
Despite Palpatine’s death he has a surrogate hologram delivering his final orders for the Empire, under the name Operation Cinder. “Star Wars: Battlefront II” arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 17th.
