Han Solo Gets A Lenser As “Rebels” Drop Clips

Bradford Young, the cinematographer on such films as “Selma,” “A Most Violent Year,” “Middle of Nowhere” and the upcoming sci-fi film “Arrival,” has scored a new job – taking on that role on Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s young Han Solo “A Star Wars Story” film at Disney Pictures.

Alden Ehrenreich will star in the film which is aiming to begin production in January or February ahead of a May 2018 release. That’s not the only “Star Wars” news today though as Lucasfilm and Disney XD have just released a new clip from the upcoming third season of “Star Wars Rebels” which premieres with back-to-back episodes this Saturday.

In the new season the Ghost crew, now led by a more powerful Ezra, strengthens the rebel fleet by acquiring new resources and recruits eager to stand against the Empire. However, the Imperial efforts to eliminate the rebellion are now being led by the coldly analytical Grand Admiral Thrawn
