“Halt and Catch Fire” Gets A Final Season

AMC has renewed its 1980s-set dawn of the computer industry drama “Halt and Catch Fire” for a fourth and final season of ten episodes.

Creators and showrunners Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers will write the series to its conclusion says the network in a statement. Lee Pace, Mackenzie Davis, Kerry Bishe and Scoot McNairy star in the show which wraps its third season this week.

The most recent season has finally scored strong critical praise after only a soft response to the first two seasons, but ratings are down with just 307,000 tuning in for this year’s least watched episode.
