Halloween Sequel In August

Dimension Films has set an August 28th release date for Rob Zombie’s “H2”, the direct sequel to his 2007 remake of the horror classic “Halloween”.

That film opened on August 31st 2007 and set a new record for the four-day Labor Day holiday weekend with $30.6 million. Zombie’s “Tyrannosaurus Rex”, which was scheduled for that release slot, has been pushed back due to his “H2” commitments.

Much like original “Halloween 2”, this sequel will pick up at the exact moment the first movie ended and follow the aftermath of Michael Myers murderous rampage. Shooting starts in March.
