A couple of key upcoming projects have locked down some filming dates. First up, Omega Underground reports that a new casting call sent out for the upcoming “Halloween” sequel has confirmed a start of filming in mid-January. Said casting call seeks extras of both genders and all ethnicities to play high school students.
The same site also reports that Disney’s live-action “Mulan” film is expected to begin its filming sometime this month in Wellington, New Zealand and China. Additionally more have been added to the crew including costume designer Bina Daigeler, visual effects supervisor Sean Andrew Faden and stunt coordinator Allan Poppleton.
Finally, Kenneth Branagh’s film adaptation of “Artemis Fowl” is lining up a March shoot in Ireland. It has also hired plenty of new crew members including composer Patrick Doyle, production designer Jim Clay, cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos, and stunt coordinator James O’Donnell.
