“Dexter” creator James Manos Jr and lead actor Michael C. Hall are teaming for the independent feature “Love, Scotch and Death” reports Deadline.
Manos penned the script about a rather bizarre week in his own life. Returning from a stressful vacation, he discovers his parents died of natural causes together in bed. He then has to deal with an unsympathetic funeral director, bewildered children, a manic wife, an eccentric priest and some over-sexed neighbors. Added to this, he’s arrested for assault and the death of his wife’s beloved dog.
Hall would play the man while Vera Farmiga (“Up in the Air”) will star alongside him. Shooting kicks off in November once the sixth season of “Dexter” wraps production.
