Convergence Entertainment are planning to adapt “Gungrave” and “Lone Wolf” into live-action feature films budgeted at around $30 million-$35 million each reports Variety.
Yasuhiro Nightow’s “Gungrave” manga follows a lone figure who moves through the ranks of the crime world. He is killed by his best friend and then brought back to life to inflict mortal pain on those who did him harm. A 26-episode animated series based on the property was made.
Joe Dever’s “Lone Wolf” is set in a medieval world and follows a warrior who goes up against creatures and armies that were killed but no longer dead. His main goal is kill the dark lords that destroyed his home.
