Rockstar Games has finally locked down release dates for the PC & new-gen console version of “Grand Theft Auto V”. The PS4 and Xbox One will score the game on November 18th, while the PC doesn’t hit until January 27th 2015.
There’s numerous visual upgrades such as enhanced damage effects, weather effects, new foliage systems, better draw distances, denser traffic, and more. There’s also 100 new songs on the radio along with new activities, weapons, wildlife, shooting range challenges and vehicles. Players can transfer their GTA Online characters and progress from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game to either new-gen console or PC.
GTAV isn’t the only game that has locked down new release dates recently. The PS3/360 versions of “Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor” have been pushed back over a month to November 18th, while the PS4/XB1 versions are going a week earlier than originally planned and will hit September 30th along with a PC release on October 2nd.
“Shadow Warrior” is set to score an October 24th release on PS4 & XB1 in Europe, “Watch Dogs” will finally come to the Wii U in November, “Dying Light” has scored a January 27th 2015 release in North America, and PS4-exclusive “Bloodborne” will come to the format on February 5th 2015.
Also “Mortal Kombat X” will hit all platforms on April 14th 2015, “Kingdom Hearts 3” is said to be targeting a May 2015 release, and Telltale Games have indicated the third season of their “The Walking Dead” game should hit late 2015/early 2016.
