“Grudge,” “Anna,” “Greyhound” Set Dates

Sony Pictures has set an August 16th 2019 release date for its remake of “The Grudge” which Nicolas Pesce is directing and which begins filming next month.

That’s not the only film that has set dates today with Tom Hanks-led war drama “Greyhound,” based on C.S. Forester’s novel “The Good Shepherd,” which is slated for an April 5th 2019 release. Aaron Schneider helms the adaptation which is currently shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Next, Orion Pictures will open John McPhail’s British dark comedy zombie musical “Anna and the Apocalypse” on December 7th in select theaters before a nationwide rollout. Finally Oscilloscope Pictures has set an August 10th release for the Miranda July-led comedy “Madeline’s Madeline” which premiered at Sundance earlier this year.
