Grey Eagle Films has begun development of a film version of Warren Adler’s thriller novel “Trans-Siberian Express”.
Set during the height of the Cold War, the story follows an American cancer specialist traveling to Moscow to help prolong the life of the Soviet Politburo Chief.
He soon accidentally discovers a diabolical plan to launch a nuclear strike against China and finds himself stuck onboard the legendary Trans-Siberian Express from Moscow to Vladivostok – meaning he’s unable to alert the U.S. of China’s imminent destruction.
Adler also penned the novel “The War of the Roses” which became the famed 1989 divorce comedy starring Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas. A sequel to that film is also in the works at Grey Eagle.
