Greengrass Swaps One “Voyage” For Another

Filmmaker Paul Greengrass (“The Bourne Ultimatum,” “United 93”) has opted out of directing the 3D remake of 60’s sci-fi cult classic “Fantastic Voyage” at 20th Century Fox says Deadline.

Greengrass was the only director to see the script for the James Cameron-produced project and was never fully committed to the film despite some over anxious early reports.

Instead, Greengrass has apparently set his sights on the new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s “Treasure Island” at Warner Bros. Pictures. His involvement there isn’t set yet and the lack of an attached writer is complicating the issue.
