Australian actress Lian Lunson is set to make her debut dramatic feature with the the contemporary fable “The Boom Boom Room” and has assembled an impressive cast to help her out reports Screen Daily.
Acting veterans Christopher Walken and Shirely MacLaine will join young stars Ashley Greene (“Twilight”) and Adam Beach (“Flags Of Our Fathers,” “Windtalkers”) in the story of a young woman (Greene) who sets out on a journey to learn the truth about her family. She soon comes upon a pair of old vaudeville stars (Walken, MacLaine) who transform her life.
Bono and director Wim Wenders will serve as executive producers. Lunson, who wrote the script, also directed the acclaimed Leonard Cohen documentary “I’m Your Man”.
