F. Gary Gray (“The Italian Job,” “Law Abiding Citizen”) is set to direct “The Last Days of American Crime” reports Deadline.
In the futuristic tale based on the Radical Publishing comic, America responds to a second major terrorism attack by developing technology that eliminates the impulse to commit crimes of any kind.
Sam Worthington plays the leader of a heist team that plans to pull off a final job five days before the signal rubs out the criminal instinct. The project is expected to be Worthington’s next film after he wraps the “Clash of the Titans” sequel.
Karl Gajdusek penned the script which His Full Clip Productions, Automatik Entertainment and Radical Studios are all producing. Shooting kicks off in September.
