Quite a few TV series have scored renewal orders in the past two days. First up, ITV and PBS have renewed the former’s Cold War-set priest drama “Grantchester” for a third season following the just finished second which saw the show winning its timeslot every week on British TV.
Next, FOX has renewed its freshmen dramas “Lucifer” and “Rosewood” for second seasons. The former is averaging 10.5 million total viewers across platforms and is the network’s second highest-rated new series among Adults 18-49. The latter averaging 7.8 million total viewers across platforms and ranks among this season’s Top 10 new broadcast dramas with Adults 18-49.
TBS has ordered a thirteen-episode second season of its series “The Detour” right before the show’s official launch. Jason Jones and Samantha Bee created the series that deals with the chaos that can erupt from not being honest with the ones we love.
