Grace To Lead Lifetime’s “Bad Seed”

McKenna Grace (“Designated Survivor,” “I, Tonya”) has been cast as the title character in the Lifetime telemovie reimagining of 1956 Oscar-nominated psychological horror-thriller “The Bad Seed”.

Rob Lowe stars, directs and produces the project in which Lowe plays a single father who seems to have everything under control. When a terrible tragedy takes place at his daughter Emma’s (Grace) school, he is forced to question everything he thought he knew about her.

When more strange things begin to happen, he’s faced with keeping a terrible secret to both protect her and stop her from striking again. Patty McCormack, who played the girl in the original movie, will play the psychiatrist who treats the young girl in this.

Lowe will direct from a script by Barbara Marshall. Mark Wolper and Elizabeth Stephen also executive produce.
