The second seasons of two DC Comics-inspired shows have just scored some new faces based on famed characters from the comics.
First up, “The Wire” alum Leo Fitzpatrick has landed a recurring arc on the second season of FOX’s Batman prequel series “Gotham”. Fitzpatrick will play Joe Pike, the leader of a notorious gang of arsonists known as the Pike Brothers. The new season kicks off September 21st.
Meanwhile The CW’s “The Flash” is set to include the female incarnation of Doctor Light (Kimiyo Hoshi). This metahuman was actually first named dropped two years ago on “Arrow” during a second season episode.
No actress has been announced for the role yet. In the comics the character was a villain but this female version was introduced as a hero in 1985. The new season of “The Flash” begins October 6th.
