Gotham Casts A Young Lucius Fox

Yet another key character in the Batman universe is joining FOX’s “Gotham” series, and one that is actually more credibly slotted in than some of the other characters that have showed up so far.

“12 Years A Slave” and “The Newsroom” actor Chris Chalk has been cast as Lucius Fox, the resident tech genius at Wayne Enterprises. Fox emerges as a moral beacon for young Bruce Wayne, and his desire to help Bruce uphold his father’s legacy eventually makes him one of the boy’s most important confidants.

Chalk will appear in the twenty-first episode of the current first season with an option to return in the second season. Morgan Freeman played the character in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” trilogy.
