Gore’s “Inconvenient,” Bigelow’s Riots Set Dates

Two key films in 2017 have set their release dates.

First up, Annapurna Pictures has announced that the first film of their brand new distribution and marketing arm will be Kathryn Bigelow’s untitled Detroit riots movie which hits August 4th 2017.

The film includes a whopping ensemble cast such as John Boyega, Malcolm David Kelley, John Krasinski, Jacob Latimore, Anthony Mackie, Will Poulter, Jack Reynor, Jeremy Strong, Ephraim Sykes, Hannah Murray and many more.

Also today comes word that former U.S. Vice President Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” will open nationwide in theaters on July 28th.

Paramount announced the release date Thursday morning, hours before the documentary premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to excellent reviews.
