“Good Place” Renewed, FOX Sets Premieres

NBC has renewed its critically acclaimed comedy “The Good Place” for a third season of thirteen episodes whilst the show is in the midst of airing its second season. The Kristen Bell and Ted Danson-led show joins fellow early renewals for 2018/2019 including “This Is Us” and “Will and Grace”.

So far this season, “The Good Place” has averaged a 2.0 rating and 6.2 million total viewers in Live+7. When additional platform viewing is taken into account, the show’s ratings grows to a 2.6 in the key demo, slightly up from the first season.

Meanwhile FOX has announced premiere dates for their upcoming series “LA to Vegas” and “The Resident” which will air from January 2nd and January 22nd respectively.

The former stars Dylan McDermott and follows an airline crew on that particular run. The latter is a medical drama starring “The Good Wife” regular Matt Czuchry.
