Gomez-Rejon Drops Out Of “Collateral Beauty”

Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (“Me And Earl And The Dying Girl”) has reportedly dropped out of his commitment to direct the Will Smith-led drama “Collateral Beauty” at New Line Cinema and Overbrook Entertainment due to “creative differences”.

Smith is still slated to play a New York advertising executive who experiences a personal tragedy and the subsequent unconventional plan from his colleagues to break him out of his depression.

This isn’t the first time people have dropped out of the project. Both Hugh Jackman and Rooney Mara were previously attached to star in the project but dropped out, at which point Smith came onboard.
