“Crazy Heart,” “Julie and Julia,” “Precious,” “Star Trek” and “Up in the Air” are all nominated for best adapted screenplay.

Several films – “An Education,” “Inglourious Basterds,” “A Single Man” and “Up” – weren’t eligible due to overly strict WGA rules.

American Society of Cinematographers
“Avatar,” “The Hurt Locker,” “Inglourious Basterds,” “Nine” and “The White Ribbon” will all compete for best film.

American Cinema Editors Awards (Eddies)
“Avatar,” “District 9,” “The Hurt Locker,” “Star Trek” and “Up in the Air” will compete for best edited dramatic feature film.

“(500) Days of Summer,” “The Hangover,” “It’s Complicated,” “Julie and Julia” and “A Serious Man” will vie for best comedy or musical film.

“Coraline,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox” and “Up” will race for animated film, while “The Cove,” “Food Inc.” and “This Is It” are up for documentary.
