A large cast has joined Paul Schrader’s upcoming Holocaust survivor movie “Adam Resurrected” says The Hollywood Reporter.
“Adam” is set in an asylum for Holocaust survivors in the Negev desert in the 1960s, and uses flashbacks to recount events in the camps.
Jeff Goldblum will play the title character whilst Willem Dafoe plays a concentration camp commandant.
Cannes best actress winner Hana Laszlo (“Free Zone”); Israeli actresses Evgenia Dudina, Ayelet Zurer (“Munich”), and Moritz Bliebtreu; and German stars Joachim Krol, Juliane Koehler and Veronica Ferres have also joined.
The $10-15 million project is due to start shooting in spring in Romania, Germany and Israel.
