A bunch of quick little production updates today for various tentpoles set to hit in 2014 and 2015.
First up, Pacific Business News says that the “Godzilla” reboot, “Jurassic Park IV,” “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” and Cameron Crowe’s “Deep Tiki” are all about to descend on Hawaii for filming.
“Godzilla” will spend a month filming in Oahu and another in Kauai, as you can see from the set photo included with this article – there will no doubt be plenty of faux destruction in its wake.
‘Jurassic’ will shoot its island scenes in Kauai. The scenes for ‘Tiki’ haven’t been specified, while ‘Pirates 5’ remains a rumor for now.
In other filming news, “Transformers 4” is slated to begin filming this June in the United States, before shifting to Hong Kong in September and China in October. Specifically the North West Kowloon is being looked at as a serious filming locale.
