God Of War Red Dead Top Game Nominees

“God of War” and “Red Dead Redemption II” have topped the nominations list of this year’s Game Awards with eight each, followed closely by “Marvel’s Spider-Man” with seven.

This year’s Game Awards nominees span thirty categories and include dozens of games. All three aforementioned games are up for the big honor of Game of the Year alongside “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey,” “Celeste” and “Monster Hunter: World”.

Other high profile titles nominated this year include “Detroit: Become Human,” “A Way Out, “Life is Strange 2,” “Ni No Kuni II,” “Forza Horizon 4,” “Far Cry 5,” “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4,” “Shadow of the Tomb Raider,” “Dead Cells,” “Octopath Traveler” and “Destiny 2: Forsaken”.

The winners of the Game Awards, which are voted on by a panel of judges, will be announced live during a streamed event from LA Live’s Microsoft Theater on December 6th. The event will include a mix of award winner announcements, live entertainment and a slew of new game reveals and video game trailers.
