Glee, AHS Creator Plans “Scream Queens”

Once “Glee” wraps up, show creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are sticking with FOX for another project. The network has given the pair a straight-to-series, fifteen episode order for the comedy-horror anthology “Scream Queens”.

Like Murphy’s “American Horror Story” on FX, completely new settings and storylines will be featured in each season of the anthology series. One commonality though is that each season will revolve around two female leads.

The first season is set on a college campus rocked by a series of murders. Casting is already underway for the two women and ten other key supporting roles.

20th Century Fox Television will produce the project which will premiere around this time next year. Murphy, Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto will executive produce.

By the time it premieres it will mark Murphy’s third anthology series on the air alongside FX’s “American Horror Story” and the currently in development “American Crime Story”.
