Some major schedule announcements this week via Box-Office Mojo as several high-profile film festival entries and overseas movies finally settle on U.S. release dates.

The Girl Who Played With Fire
Following on from ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’, this second film in the Swedish-language adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s ‘Millennium’ trilogy has settled on a July 9th limited release.

Woody Allen’s latest ensemble project, starring the likes of Anthony Hopkins and Naomi Watts, has finally settled on a September 22nd release.

Paramount Pictures has scheduled David O. Russell’s much anticipated boxing drama with Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale for a December 10th release, likely trying to line it up as a big awards contender.

The Illusionist
“The Triples of Belleville” director Sylvain Chomet returns with this animated feature which will get a limited release on Christmas Day.
