Nearly ten years after the disastrous first attempt, Terry Gilliam’s second chance at filming “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” has fallen apart it would seem reports Variety.
“The financing collapsed about a month and a half ago. I shouldn’t be here. The plan was to be shooting ‘Quixote’ right now” said Gilliam at the Deauville American Film Festival this past week. The other month it was reported that funding on the film had undergone a slight “hiccup”. Turns out it was major asphyxiation.
Gilliam though is undeterred and still intent on making the film. “Robert Duval is Quixote, Ewan McGregor is also there, and we are looking for new financing right now” he adds.
