Giacchino To Compose “Spider-Man” Score

“Doctor Strange” composer Michael Giacchino has confirmed on Twitter that he’s returning to the Marvel Studios fold to do the score for Jon Watts’ “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.

Marvel chief Kevin Feige accidentally let slip that Giacchino will be composing the music for the Spidey movie during a Q&A on Thursday following a ‘Strange’ screening. Giacchino’s confirmation only just came through.

Giacchino has done memorable work on “The Incredibles,” “Star Trek,” “Up,” “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” “John Carter,” “Jurassic World,” and “Zootopia” and his score will be heard next month on “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”.
