Three years since his “Mad Max: Fury Road” hit cinemas, acclaimed filmmaker George Miller has reportedly set his next project “Three Thousand Years Of Longing” reports Deadline.
Miller has reportedly penned the script and will direct the original film, but even the basic story logline is under wraps. What is known is that it will be “epic in scope” and is said to be unlike anything the filmmaker has done before.
Additionally THR reports that Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton have signed on to star in undisclosed roles.
Miller will also produce alongside Doug Mitchell. Filming is due to get underway next year though no cast has yet been set. FilmNation is handling international sales and will launch the project at AFM.
