Maggie Geha (“Ted 2,” “The Harrow”) has been cast as the new Poison Ivy in the upcoming third season of FOX’s “Gotham” for Warner Bros. Television.
Geha takes over from Clare Foley who played the role in the first two seasons of the series. The character’s physical change will be explained in the series according to a newly released official description:
“Following an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill, Ivy Pepper finds herself reborn, and one step closer to the DC villain she is destined to become: Poison Ivy. Now a 19-year-old woman who’s harnessed the full power of her charms, she sets her sights on Bruce Wayne.”
She joins the recently cast Jamie Chung as the reporter Valerie Vale. “Gotham” returns on September 19th on FOX.
