Gary Oldman Set To Join “Mary”

Gary Oldman, coming off a performance as Winston Churchill in “Darkest Hour” is generating serious Oscar buzz, is set to star in the supernatural thriller “Mary” for Tucker Tooley Entertainment and Entertainment One.

The story centers on a struggling family that buys an old ship at auction with the high hopes of starting a charter business, only to discover the ship’s horrifying secrets on the isolated open waters.

Michael Goi directs and Anthony Jaswinski (“The Shallows”) penned the script and shooting is scheduled to begin in Alabama in late September. Tucker Tooley, Scott Lambert, Alexandra Milchan and Scott Lumpkin are producing.
