A couple of key game trailers have been released this week. First up developer Illfonic, one of those behind the well-regarded “Friday the 13th” video game, have announced they’re turning their talents to another franchise with the asymmetrical competitive online multiplayer game “Predator: Hunting Grounds”.
You can play as an elite Fireteam charged to complete paramilitary operations while a Predator mercilessly hunts you. Or, BE the Predator, armed with all the deadly alien weaponry you’ve grown to love and pursue your prey. Set to arrive on consoles in 2020, the first trailer for the title is now online.
Next, Square Enix has finally released a brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake. The clip came during Sony Playstation’s State of Play broadcast and offers a new look at original characters Cloud, Barrett and Aerith. There’s also some actual gameplay.
Then there’s a glimpse of “Away: The Survival Series,” an an animal-based adventure game inspired by famed docos like “Planet Earth” and “Our Planet” in which you play a Sugar Glider on a breathtaking journey into the wild and must survive hazards from poisonous and hungry creatures to forest fires, man-made disasters and more.
Finally, there’s a first gameplay trailer for “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne,” a massive expansion coming to PS4 worldwide on September 6th. A brand new story unfolds as new monsters, quests and abilities come to “Monster Hunter: World”.
