Actress Emilia Clarke appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night where she talked about her role on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and was asked about this past weekend’s massive scale but divisive episode ‘The Long Night’.
With the forces of the Night King dealt with, the battle now turns towards the human elements of the series fighting it out – specifically the fight for King’s Landing. She says the remaining three episodes are where the big stuff happens and the fifth one, in particular, is even bigger.
Clarke says: “They are going to be mental – episode five is bigger. Episode five is ahhhh. I mean four and five and six, they’re all insane, but…” Kimmel asked: “Four is this Sunday, five is where something crazy happens?”. Clarke answered: “Find the biggest TV you can.”
It’s expected the episode involving the storming of King’s Landing will take place during the day so hopefully won’t have the darkness issues that plagued last week’s episodes and has since become a full-on meme.
“Game of Thrones” airs Sunday nights on HBO.
