THQ and World Events Productions have announced plans to produce video games based on the classic 80’s cartoon franchise “Voltron”.
The original cartoon dealt with five robotic lions, piloted by a team of brave space explorers, who combined to form the mighty robot hero, Voltron.
The games are anticipated to debut this fall, ahead of the premiere of the all-new 2D/CGI animated Voltron Force series set to launch on Nicktoons in the U.S., and with other key broadcasters worldwide in 2011.
